The PUTRA Science Olympiad (PuSO) is a academic competition under Karnival Jom Sains (KJS 2026), designed to challenge secondary school students in their knowledge and application of science. The competition provides a platform for participants to demonstrate their understanding in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics while fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and academic excellence.

Open to Form 4 and 5 students nationwide, participation is in teams of four, with an entry fee of RM20 per team. The preliminary written round will be held on 15 April 2026, with registration closing on 23 March 2026. The top four teams with the highest cumulative scores will advance to the live quiz final, testing both individual and team knowledge under time-bound challenges.
